Notice in writing shall be given to a registrant of any noncompliance by the registrant with, or violation of any provisions and regulations of the City Building Code or any other building, plumbing, electrical, sanitary or other code in effect in the City, discovered by the Building Commissioner or his duly authorized assistants. The registrant shall remedy or cause to be corrected such noncompliance or violation within five days after the receipt of such notice or within the time period designated by the Building Commissioner. Failure to conform with the orders of the Building Commissioner or his duly authorized assistants shall result in the suspension or revocation of the registrant's certificate or prosecution as hereinafter provided, or both.
