The Sexton shall be charged with the duties of the sale of and the keeping of accurate records of the sale and transfer of all burial plots in the cemeteries; he shall accept payments for the sale of lots, keep an accurate record thereof and shall promptly account to the Director of Finance for all moneys received by him from such sales and transfers. He shall give bond to the Municipality in the penal sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), with responsible surety, for the faithful performance of all duties imposed upon him by this chapter.
