1046.08 EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF PERMITS; MAXIMUM PERIOD FOR EXCAVATING.

All permits shall be effective for a maximum period of thirty days. All work shall be promptly commenced and performed without any unnecessary or undue delay. Excavations shall not be allowed to remain in an open condition for any period longer than is reasonable or necessary to expeditiously complete the work and, in any event, not longer than thirty-two consecutive hours.
