868.07 AUDIBLE ALARMS.
   (a)   Each audible alarm installed in a residential district shall not have an intensity of sound that exceeds 85 decibels at ten feet from any point on the exterior wall of the structure in which it is installed.
   (b)   All audible alarms installed in a residential district shall be equipped with an automatic shutoff device so that the audible alarm does not last longer than fifteen minutes after each activation of the alarm system.
   (c)   An audible alarm system which does not shut off after fifteen minutes shall constitute a public nuisance and may be abated immediately by an officer or employee of the City.
