Every junk dealer shall pay an annual license fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). All licenses shall be issued as of January 1 of each year and shall continue in force until one year next succeeding the date of issuance thereof, unless sooner revoked.
Each holder of a junk dealer's license shall be entitled to have, keep and operate one vehicle in connection with such business for the purpose of collecting junk within the Municipality. For each additional vehicle used in and about such business for the purpose of collecting junk within the Municipal limits, the additional sum of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) shall be paid.
Whenever a license is lost or destroyed without fault on the part of the holder or his agent or employee, a duplicate license in lieu thereof under the original application and bond shall be issued by the Mayor upon the filling of an affidavit setting forth circumstances of the loss or destruction, and upon the payment of three dollars ($3.00).
