(a) No person shall operate or cause to be operated, or permit, on public or private property, any source of continuous and/or impulsive sound in such a manner as to create a sound level which exceeds the limits set forth in either of the following tables when measured at a distance of fifty feet or fifteen meters or more from such source, thereby posing an immediate threat to health and welfare:

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
