23-26. STORAGE OF YARD WASTE.
   (A)   Storage. Yard waste may be stored only in accordance with the following:
      (1)   Yard waste may be stored on the premises which generated the yard waste in approved bags or carts as provided in § 23-2(C) for less than one week prior to a scheduled city collection;
      (2)   Yard waste may be stored in a compost pile or compost bin in compliance with city codes regulating composting.
   (B)   Disposal. Yard waste shall be disposed of in accordance with the following:
      (1)   Yard waste may be placed in approved bags or carts as provided in § 23-2(C) for collection on a regularly scheduled collection day. Yard waste shall not be mixed with other refuse;
      (2)   Yard waste may not be disposed of in a receptacle which is not owned, leased or authorized for use by the person generating and disposing of the yard waste;
      (3)   Yard waste may not be disposed of in any public right-of-way or any other public or private place except as provided in this section;
      (4)   Yard waste placed for collection which does not conform to the requirements of this section shall be tagged as rejected waste in accordance with § 23-21 of this chapter;
      (5)   No person shall deposit yard waste for curbside collection that was not generated from his or her premises.
