The funds received as a sewer service charge or rental shall be placed in the Treasury of the Municipality to the credit of the Sanitary Sewer Fund, and when appropriated by Council shall be subject to the orders of the Director of Public Service for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the sanitary sewer system, and for the costs and expenses of the management, maintenance, repair and operation of the sanitary sewer system including the disposal plants, pumping stations and sewer lines.
No part of the funds collected as a sewer service charge or rental shall be used for the extension or enlargement of the sanitary sewer system of the Municipality to some unserved areas, or for any other purpose other than stated in this section.
