Whoever violates any provision of this chapter or fails to comply with any provisions of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues. The violator of this section shall be fined the value of the tree removed. The appraisal value shall be calculated using the trunk formula method as set forth in The Ninth Edition ofthe Guide for Plant Appraisal.
