No person shall conduct any sale commonly known as a garage sale without first having received a license. A license shall be issued per address for each address conducting a sale. Upon application, either in person, by mail or by telephone, the Mayor is authorized to issue such a license. The license shall set forth the name, address and date of the sale. The nonrefundable fee for said license shall be ten dollars ($10.00) and said license shall be displayed in a conspicuous place during said sale. (Ord. 2000-29. Passed 10-16-00.)
