(a) The parking on any public street, thoroughfare, road, alley, or other public property for more than one (1) hour by commercial vehicles, trucks, trailers, or semitrailers so designed as to be dependent on commercial tractors for motive power is prohibited, other than temporary parking for the purpose of and while actually involved in loading or unloading.
(b) This section shall not apply to those trucks commonly known as pickup trucks.
(c) Each day wherein a commercial vehicle, truck, trailer, or semi-trailer is parked in violation of this section shall be treated as a separate offense.

(d) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
