351.01 POLICE MAY REMOVE UNATTENDED VEHICLE WHICH OBSTRUCTS TRAFFIC.
   (a)   Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle unattended upon any street, bridge or causeway, or in any tunnel, where such vehicle constitutes an obstruction to traffic, such officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle to the nearest garage or other place of safety.

   (b)   Any vehicle parked upon the street and alleys of the Municipality in violation of the traffic laws of the State or the provisions of this Traffic Code may, at the option of the Police officers of the Municipality, be removed from the street or alley where illegally parked, and stored in a garage, to be held subject to the orders of the Police officers of the Municipality. The costs of removing the motor vehicle or other vehicle from the street or alley to the garage shall be included and taxed as costs as a part of such case.
