(a) The following days shall be observed as public holidays by all regular employees of the Municipality:
New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Jr. Day (the third Monday in January)
Presidents’ Day
Memorial Day
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

(b) Whenever a public holiday falls on a Saturday, such holiday shall be observed on the Friday preceding such Saturday. Whenever a public holiday falls on a Sunday, such holiday shall be observed on the following Monday.
