303.38 POLICE OFFICERS AUTHORIZED TO CONDUCT INVESTIGATIONS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY.

Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, nothing may prohibit any duly authorized municipal police officer from entering upon private lands in order to investigate a motor vehicle accident when said private lands are open to the use of the public at-large for any purpose.
