(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive a motor vehicle upon any highway or street at a rate of speed in excess of 30 mph, except where official signs have been posted indicating other speed limits, in which cases the posted speed limit shall apply.
(B) It shall also be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle on any highway or street at a rate of speed in excess of that set forth in § 15-305 of this chapter.
