§ 15-305 SPEED LIMITS IMPOSED FOR SPECIFIC AREAS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive a motor vehicle in excess of 30 mph in the city or in excess of the speed limits herein designated for the following specific areas of the city.
   (A)   The speed limit within the entire area of the subdivision known as Spring Hill Estates is hereby fixed at 20 mph.
   (B)   The speed limit within the entire area of the subdivision known as Witt Hill Subdivision is hereby fixed at 20 mph.
   (C)   A speed limit of 30 mph shall be in effect on S.R. 247 from 200 yards west of the crest of the hill adjacent to the west side of the CSX railroad tracks to the east side of the intersection of East Alex Drive with S.R. 247.
   (D)   A speed limit of 35 mph shall be in effect in the following locations:
      (1)   On Beechcroft Road (S.R. 247) from 200 yards west of the CSX Railroad right-of-way to the eastern right-of-way of Town Center Parkway;
      (2)   On Beechcroft Road (S.R. 247) from the eastern right-of-way of Town Center Parkway to a point 200 yards west of the western right-of-way of CSX Railroad;
      (3)   On Kedron Road from the east end of Orphanage Creek to Main Street (U.S. 31);
      (4)   On Main Street (U.S. 31) from the midpoint between the First Baptist Church and Witt Hill Subdivision to the south end of the McCormack Creek Bridge;
      (5)   On Duplex Road from Main Street to the easternmost city limits at I-65; and
      (6)   On Buckner Road from (U.S. 31) Columbia Pike, to Buckner Lane.
   (E)   A speed limit of 45 mph shall be in effect in the following locations:
      (1)   On Route 31 from the midpoint between First Baptist Church and Witt Hill Subdivision to the northern boundary of the city limits;
      (2)   On Route 31 from the north end of Route 396 (Saturn Parkway) overpass to the south end of the McCormack Creek Bridge;
      (3)   On Kedron Road from the southern city limits to the east end of Orphanage Creek Bridge near Jackson Subdivision;
      (4)   On Route 31 from the northern boundary of the city limits to the mid-point between First Baptist Church and Witt Hill Subdivision; and
      (5)   On Beechcroft Road (S.R. 247) from the western city limits to a point 200 yards west of the western right-of-way of the CSX Railroad.
   (F)   A speed limit of 55 mph shall be in effect in the following locations:
      (1)   On Route 31 from the northern city limits to the north edge of the “Hitchin Post” tract; and
      (2)   On Route 31 from the southern city limits to the north end of Route 396 (Saturn Parkway).
   (G)   The maximum allowable speed limit on Tom Lunn Road shall be 45 mph and that the public works staff is directed to install appropriate speed limit signs on each end of that portion of Tom Lunn Road that are located inside the corporate boundaries.
