§ 36.24 NEW MATERIALS, PROCESSES, OR OCCUPANCIES WHICH REQUIRE PERMITS.
   The Chief Building Official, the City Administrator, and the Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau shall constitute a Committee to recommend to Council, after giving affected persons an opportunity to be heard, any new materials, processes, or occupancies which shall require permits in addition to those enumerated in the code. This section shall not operate so as to limit the power of Council by Charter to legislate by addition to or amendments or repeal of the Fire Prevention Code, or any part thereof without the consideration of legislation by the Committee established under this section.
