Sec. 10-76. Permission required for amusement rides.
   No person shall conduct, operate, manage or sponsor any ferris wheels, merry-go-rounds or other amusement rides operated for hire or for the purpose of promoting or advertising any trade or business, without first having obtained a license and permission from the chief of police.
