Sec. 5-81. Disposition of unredeemed dogs and cats.
   All dogs and cats impounded under this division and which have not been redeemed or purchased as authorized by this division within one hundred twenty (120) hours of such impoundment may be adopted by any person or disposed of in a humane manner by any police officer or animal control officer of the city or by any veterinarian.
