Sec. 14-158. General supervision and care.
   The director of parks and recreation shall have general supervision and care of the cemetery and shall take care that all cemetery parcels and cemetery property therein are kept in proper order and
condition. He or she shall take care that all cemetery parcels endowed as provided for in this chapter are put and kept in such good order and condition as their endowment contemplates. It is the duty of the director of parks and recreation to employ such personnel necessary to oversee the digging of graves, to properly care for all trees, shrubbery, plants, and grass growing in the cemetery, to keep the driveways, walkways, and fences in good condition, and to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the cemetery.
