Each residential unit or commercial unit within the city shall have a service line connected with the municipal sewer system in accordance with this section. Such service lines shall be of material meeting the specifications as set forth by the Water/Wastewater Utilities Superintendent and approved by the City Engineer and of such size to meet the minimum requirements of the South Dakota Plumbing Code and the requirements set forth in the Standard Specifications for Installation and Repair of Water and Sewer Service Lines, as adopted by the City of Spearfish, and as may be amended from time to time.
