Sec. 17-507. Disposition of funds from sale.
   After the costs of removing, storing, advertising and selling a vehicle under the provisions of this article are deducted, the balance of the funds derived from the sale of such vehicle under this article shall be held for the owner of such vehicle for a period of ninety (90) days. If such proceeds are not claimed at the expiration of such ninety-day period, such proceeds shall be paid into the general fund of the city.
