Sec. 15A-2. Purpose.
   The regulations in this chapter are adopted to establish reasonable standards of design and procedures for subdivision to protect and provide for the public health, safety and general welfare of the city, to promote aesthetically attractive subdivisions, and to achieve economies in the construction and long-term maintenance of the city street system.
