Sec. 14-27. Street name, prefixes; official map.
   (a)   The names of the streets lying easterly from Main Street shall be designated as "East" and the names of the streets lying westerly of Main Street shall be designated as "West." The prefixes shall be placed before the proper names of the street as "East Colorado Street" or "West Colorado Street."
   (b)   The names of the streets and avenues in the city are hereby fixed and adopted in accordance with and as shown by the map of the city on file in the office of the public works administrator, which map is hereby designated and adopted as the official map of the city.
