§ 150.01 PURPOSE.

   The town is a growing part of the county and its citizens want to ensure that their community grows in an orderly manner. Realizing that future growth will occur not only within the present corporate limits, but adjoining areas, the town proposes to regulate development in these growth areas.

§ 150.02 AUTHORITY.

   In accordance with the authority under G.S. § 160A-360, the town chooses to exercise its planning authority in its one-mile extraterritorial planning area.
