(A) A standard monthly fee shall be charged for each customer meter in service (“customer charge”). The fee may vary with the type of customer and/or service provided, but will not vary with a customer’s actual energy usage. The customer charge will be the minimum monthly service charge for each customer meter.
(B) Monthly customer charges for service within town corporate limits are: $5 (per meter per month) for single phase service; and $6.25 (per meter per month) for three phase service.
(C) Monthly customer charges for service outside town corporate limits are: $7 (per meter per month) for single phase service; and $8.90 (per meter per month) for three phase service.
(D)
Monthly customer charges are $65 (per month per location or establishment) for each power service (§ 53.19, above) user.
(E) Proceeds of the customer charge may be used to maintain or upgrade any town utility meter at a site served by the town’s electric utility.
