When inspecting structures and occupancies other than residential structures and occupancies in the Village to achieve compliance with the Ohio Fire Code, the Village, through its Fire Inspection Bureau and its Fire Prevention Officer, shall impose the following fee schedule to the owners of those structures/occupancies inspected:
(a) There shall be no fee for a first-time inspection, which inspection includes witnessing inspection, testing, and maintenance of all fire protection systems (i.e., fire alarm, sprinkler system, hood system, and the like).
(b) There shall also be no fee for a follow-up inspection to verify compliance with any violations from the first-time inspection provided that the Fire Prevention Officer finds that any and all violations from the first-time inspection have been corrected and are in compliance to the Fire Prevention Officer's satisfaction. If the Fire Prevention Officer finds that the violations from the first-time inspection have not been corrected and are not in compliance to the Fire Prevention Officer's satisfaction, then the fee for any additional follow-up inspection thereafter performed by the Fire Prevention Officer to ensure compliance shall be fifty dollars ($50.00). Notwithstanding the foregoing fee, the Fire Prevention Officer shall not be prohibited or restricted in any way from moving forward with enforcement proceedings as referred to in Section 1602.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of South Russell to ensure compliance.
(c) There shall be a fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for any and all testing of the fire alarm and safety system for acceptance.
(d) There shall be a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for a Fire Prevention Application Permit, as referred to in Section 1628.01 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of South Russell.
