(a) Official notices and orders issued pursuant to this Chapter, including but not limited to inspection scheduling notices, inspection reports, notices of code violations, and invoices, shall be served upon the owner or designated responsible local agent by first class mail to the address reported on the registration form, in person, or by email to the email address reported on the registration form upon written consent of the owner or agent.
(b) Whenever the Building Official or his/her designee determines that there has been a violation of any section of this Chapter, he or she shall give notice of such alleged violation and order for correction of the violation as provided for in the International Property Maintenance Code, Chapter 1422
of the Code of Ordinances.
