Unless otherwise provided in Section 628.01(d), if a person knowingly, intentionally, or recklessly violates this chapter, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor as follows:
(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) below, a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 30 days or a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or both.
(b) If the violation causes damage to the property of another person, a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or both.
