Any person who shall violate the provisions of the Michigan Plumbing Code, adopted herein as the City's Plumbing Code, or who shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof, or who shall construct or alter a building or structure in violation of an approved plan or directive of the Building Official, as defined in said Code, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provisions of that Code, shall be guilty of a civil infraction punishable by not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00). Each day a Code violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
