1246.04 UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS.
   In the case of a new subdivision development or redevelopment where overhead utility lines currently exist, the proprietor of the development shall place all existing utilities underground. If the proprietor is unable to place the existing utilities underground because of specific requirements or conditions of the utility company, the specific reasons with documentation from the utility company, must be made in writing to the Planning Commission at the time of plat approval for review. The Planning Commission will take this information into consideration when making its recommendation regarding the development to City Council.
