1044.09 INACCURATE METERS.
   A consumer may request that a water meter be tested. If a one-inch or less meter is determined to be accurate, a one-time charge of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) will be assessed and paid. A meter of one and one-half inches or greater will have a one hundred twenty-five dollar ($125.00) fee assessed plus an additional fee for a third-party agency to test, pull, reinstall, together with other related expenses. If the meter is found defective, it shall be repaired or an accurate meter shall be installed at no charge. All fees are subject to adjustment from time to time by resolution of the City Council.
