As used in this chapter:
(a) "City water distribution system" means all mains, connections, pipes, meters, hydrants and appurtenances connected with or served by the City water distribution system.
(b) "Department" means the Water Department of the City.
(c) "Director" means the Director of Public Services or his or her authorized representative.
(d) "Service connection" means a connection serving a single water customer consisting of one water connection, one curb stop and one meter.
(e) "Water Board" means the City Water Board.
(f) "Water connection" means that part of the City water distribution system connecting the water main with the premises served.
(g) "Water main" means that part of the City water distribution system located within easement lines or streets designed to supply more than one water connection.
