866.07 FORM AND TERM OF DRIVER'S LICENSE; DISPLAY.
   Upon satisfactory fulfillment of the requirements set forth in Sections 866.05 and 866.06, there shall be issued to the applicant a driver's license which shall be in such a form as to contain the photograph and signature of the licensee and a blank space upon which may be recorded any arrests and convictions against him or her. Any licensee who defaces, removes or obliterates any official entry made upon his or her license or book shall, in addition to any other punishment imposed by this chapter, have his or her license revoked at the discretion of Council. A driver's license shall be issued as of January 1 of each year and shall be valid until the January 1 next succeeding. No person shall permit any employee to operate a public taxicab or motor vehicle for hire in the City without first obtaining a license as a public driver from the City Clerk. Every licensed driver shall have his or her license, together with his or her photograph, conspicuously displayed on the inside of his or her taxicab or motor vehicle for hire, with a light shining on it at night so that it may be easily seen both in the day and at night by occupants of the taxicab or motor vehicle for hire.
