For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall be deemed to have the meanings hereafter set forth.
(a) “Accommodation(s).” The room or other space provided to transient guests for lodging or sleeping, including furnishings and other accessories therein.
(b) “Extended stay hotel.” A building or group of buildings containing units (a bedroom, closet and a bathroom) or rooms, which provide for accommodations for temporary residence by persons for non-transient extended stays or stays longer than thirty days.
(c) “Hotel and/or motel.” A building or group of buildings containing units (a bedroom, closet and a bathroom) or rooms, which provide for accommodations for transient persons for compensation for periods of thirty consecutive days or less.
(d) “Licensed establishment.” Any premises licensed pursuant to this chapter.
(e) “Transient.” A person lodging for compensation in any hotel, motel or tourists home for a period of thirty consecutive days or less.
