No person shall operate a restaurant in the City who does not possess an unrevoked license of current issue granted in accordance with this Business Regulation and Taxation Code. No such license shall be granted except on certification by the Director of Inspections. Such license shall be posted in a conspicuous place in the restaurant. Only persons who comply with this chapter shall be entitled to receive and retain such a license. A person conducting an itinerant restaurant shall also be required to secure a license, which license shall be prominently displayed.
