824.06 EMERGENCY VENTILATION FANS.

An emergency ventilation fan shall be installed in the backroom or maintenance area to be used in case of serious solvent leakage. This fan may be installed in the rear wall. The combined capacity of the general ventilation system required in Section 824.04 and the emergency fan shall be a minimum of 1,000 CFM per machine. The emergency fan switch should be installed near the service area access door.
