678.07 SANITATION IN BARNS AND BARNYARDS.
   No person shall maintain or cause or permit to be maintained an unclean barn or barnyard. All manure shall be removed, stored and disposed of in such a manner so as to prevent the breeding or harboring of insects, vermin or rodents. All pools of stagnant water in yards where animals are kept shall either be drained or treated so as to effectively prevent the breeding of flies and mosquitoes. No person shall allow any animal or fowl, except birds, dogs, cats or other harmless domestic pets, to be kept within twenty-five feet of any dwelling. Such animal or fowl and the premises on which it is kept, if a permit has been granted, shall be kept in a sanitary condition.
