664.01 NONSUPPORT OF DEPENDENTS.

No person who is of sufficient ability shall refuse or neglect to support his or her family, or fail, neglect or refuse to provide necessary and proper shelter, food, care and clothing for his or her wife or children under the age of seventeen years, for more than ten days.
