The Director of Inspections and the Director of Public Services and any deputies, agents or inspectors designated by them are hereby authorized to perform the duties and functions and are hereby given like authority of regularly appointed police officers of the City in the enforcement of this chapter, but this shall not be deemed to relieve the Police Department of its general duty to enforce these Codified Ordinances as specified in Chapter 234.
