No person shall possess, deliver, possess with intent to manufacture or deliver, administer or prescribe any substance falling within the provisions of M.C.L.A. 333.7401 et seq., as amended. However, nothing contained in this section shall be deemed to prohibit the possession, sale, offering for sale, distributing, administering, dispensing or prescribing of any of the drugs or their derivatives mentioned in this chapter, or in M.C.L.A. 333.7401 et seq., as amended, in any manner and under such circumstances as provided in this chapter.
