297.11 VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT.
   (a)   Effective July 1, 2000, any member who has attained the following age and years of service may retire upon his or her written application filed with the Board of Trustees setting forth at what time, not less than thirty days nor more than ninety days subsequent to the execution and filing thereof, he or she desires to be retired:
      (1)   Twenty-five or more years of service and a minimum age of fifty;
      (2)   Ten or more years of service and a minimum age of sixty; or
      (3)   Any years of service and an age the sum of which equals eighty or more.
   (b)   Upon a member's retirement, he or she shall receive a pension as provided for in Section 297.13.
