286.04 DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION; OTHER PERSONNEL.

The Parks and Recreation Commission shall recommend a qualified and experienced Director of Parks and Recreation to the Mayor for appointment and shall make recommendations for the employment of such other employees as it deems necessary for the carrying out of the parks and recreation program of the City, in the manner prescribed by the City Charter. The Director shall have the supervision of all of the employees and will be the head of the Department of Parks and Recreation.
