There is hereby established in and for the City a Cultural, Arts and Special Events Commission which shall consist of up to fifteen members to be appointed by the Mayor in the manner prescribed by the Charter. Members shall be appointed upon adoption of this chapter (Ordinance 76, passed January 17, 1964), and periodically thereafter, as provided by the Charter, and shall qualify by taking the oath of office to be filed with the City Clerk. Members of the Commission shall serve without compensation for their service in such connection.
