There is hereby established in and for the City a Commission on Aging which shall consist of not fewer than seven members and not more than nine members to be appointed by the Mayor in the manner prescribed by the City Charter. Members of the Commission shall be appointed upon adoption of this chapter, and periodically thereafter, as provided by the City Charter, membership of the Commission shall be selected from residents of the City having experience in various disciplines, including, but not limited to, clergy, social services, real estate, health, banking and finance, education and legal and lay persons representing the aged or aging.
