242.02 AUTHORITY RE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.

The Department of Public Services shall be responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of City water mains and connections and other facilities pertaining to the water distribution system, and it shall have charge of the pumping of water into and through the City water distribution system, under the supervision and direction of the Water Board.
