The Fire Chief shall enforce all State laws and provisions of these Codified Ordinances governing the following:
(a) The prevention of fires;
(b) The storage and use of explosives and flammables;
(c) The maintenance of fire alarm systems, both automatic and private, and all fire extinguishing equipment;
(d) The maintenance and use of fire escapes;
(e) The maintenance of fire protection and the elimination of fire hazards in all buildings and structures; and
(f) The maintenance and adequacy of fire exits from factories, schools, hotels, asylums, hospitals, churches, halls, theaters and other places in which numbers of persons work or congregate for any purpose.
