210.01 MAYOR AS PURCHASING AGENT.

The Mayor shall act as Purchasing Agent of the City, unless he or she designates another officer or employee of the City to act as Purchasing Agent. Any such designation shall be in writing and shall be filed with the City Clerk. In the event of such designation, every purchase order in excess of one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be approved by the Mayor before being issued. The Mayor shall adopt any necessary rules with respect to requisitions and purchase orders.
