Sec. 73 Water Department; Water Board.

(a) There shall be a Water Board who shall be responsible for the construction, maintenance and management of the water works and water supply of the City, and the distribution of the same to customers.

(b) The department head of the Water Department shall be the Superintendent of Water Supply, and shall perform such duties as are required of him by State law, this Charter, the ordinances of the City and the rules and regulations of the Water Board.
