Sec. 36 State election laws; conflicts.

The general election laws of the State, when applicable, shall apply to all primary, regular and special elections in the City, provided, however, that when there is a conflict between such general laws and this Charter as to any matter which may be lawfully regulated by Charter, then the provisions of this Charter shall control.
